Breakfast, Lunch and After School Clubs
At Roby Mill, we offer a range of pre and after school care to support working families and provide fun and exciting extra-curricular activities for all our children to enjoy.
We choose all our activities carefully to complement the curriculum and pique the children’s interest whilst promoting our Christian Values of Love, Hope and Courage. To reserve a place for your child at any of our sessions, please contact the school office.
We offer Breakfast clubs daily from 7.45am to 8.45am.
At Breakfast club children can choose which activities they want get involved in. We also provide a choice of fruit and snacks. Contact the school office to reserve and pay for a place for your child.
New for 2022-23, lunchtime activities are optional and free to attend. Each day we offer a different fun activity to develop new skills, extend hobbies, and expand the children’s learning. Pupil Voice gather the thoughts of our pupils and suggest clubs to suit all needs.
After school clubs
After school activities run from 3.15pm - 4.15pm on Monday to Thursday. After 4.15pm, general childcare is available on these days until 5.30pm.
Sports activities are designed to develop fundamental skills and promote teamwork. Funded by school and provided by West Lancashire Sports Partnership, some sessions are structured and others voted on by the children each half-term. Previous sports activities have included tennis, football and basketball.
Cooking club and Craft club
Cooking club helps children learn essential skills such as weights and measures, how to choose healthy foods, plus the importance of safety in the kitchen. Craft club activities are planned around key dates in the Christian calendar, including Christmas, Easter and Harvest festival. Past activities include quilting, printing, painting, making pompom animals and building bird boxes.
Cooking and craft club must both be booked and paid for through the school office.
