Design Technology
Our Design Technology curriculum is linked to our topic areas and covers a broad area of skills which are developed through the school. Each theme follows the design, make and evaluate process and we focus on leading designers relating to each topic. Jamie Oliver’s healthy school lunches led way to designing healthy pizzas and Renzo Piano’s design of the Shard in London is considered when making structures. We hold cake making competitions and our Year 6 children sew a teddy out of their school jumpers when they leave.
