Key Stage 1

EYFS Phonics Video - Alphablocks "ai"

To be watched after Zoom Phonics session.

  • Y1 & 2 Maths Watch the video about creating symmetrical patterns on butterflies. Create your own! If you do not have access to paint, draw your own symmetrical pattern on a butterfly.
  • Art Watch the video clip about Vincent Van Gogh. Which colours did VG use when he lived in Holland? (Dark, lots of grey/black) What about when he lived in Arles? (Lots of colour, happy colours, a lot brighter) Look at his Sunflowers painting (attached below on website).. Children to have a go at making their own sunflower picture using pencil to draw it first and colouring pencils to colour it in afterwards.
  • Music Log in will be sent over class DoJo. Log in and complete "Bringing Us Together"
